Impact Hub Glass Mural
In 2019, my partner Alise Eastgate and I exhibited over 40 pieces in our show ‘Layers: past seeds, present forest’ at Oakland Impact Hub. To celebrate the exhibition, we painted a chalk mural on the exterior and interior glass windows and doors.
The design is intuitively freestyled, drawing from my experiences in my home, Fiji. After completing this mural, I did a couple of similar glass murals for kava bars in Santa Cruz and Oakland and I painted interior and exterior walls in the style in Oakland.
